A Beginner's Guide on Swimming Pool Cleaning

Primarily, be aware that notwithstanding how well you think it's easy to cleanse your swimming pool by hand, there are countless things pool cleaners purge when disinfecting swimming pools that you cannot when you cleanse your swimming pools by hand.

It has obviously become a lot easier now to cleanse your swimming pool by acquiring a kind of automatic pool cleaner which you just drop into the pool to do all of the disinfecting for you, robotically as well as without human help... and most importantly-quicker than a human would. I'm critically not favoring the idea of going to pay for your swimming pool cleaners without first speaking with your buddies or relatives that have swimming pools to suggest the most effective pool cleaners they make use of for their pools.

Technological devices freaks state that what they are passionate about the most concerning the remote controlled knack that robotic pool cleaners have is truly that they can basically be far away and still control the pool cleaners; this is particularly exciting to them. To effectively maintain the years of your pool cleaner you have to take care of it like other gadgets in your residence; if you do not take care of your pool cleaner it is likely to develop hitches and cost you huge chunk of capital to amend or change.

I do not think it wise to NOT make use of pool cleaners simply because of the price, but expose yourself and your lovely family to healthiness dangers which are part of swimming in harmful or dirty pools. If you are having snag finding out the precise pool cleaner you want, make use of the Internet to explore; with the control of the Internet it's easy to locate precise pool cleaner info you are looking for without problems.

Robotic swimming pool cleaners basically function with the precise same form of artificial intelligence creation which robotic kinds of vacuum cleaners work with; they do the disinfecting so that you do not have to. What's really marvelous about the robotic sorts of pool cleaners is the pace at which they get your swimming pool cleaned; within minutes you'll be amazed to behold your dirty looking pool sparkling lots more than ever.

In ending, if you wish to lengthen the lifespan of your pool cleaner, take the time to manually eradicate any huge trash and toys which are in the pool, before using your pool cleaner.

Why Choose LED Pool Lighting?

High-Definition Lighting That Lasts
The growing popularity of color-changing LED lighting for pools and spas is primarily due to the brilliant-lighting effects of newer systems. The difference between old technology (incandescent) pool lighting and LED pool lighting is like comparing a standard definition television to a high-definition television—the colors and visual quality are simply stronger, brighter and more appealing.

Many pool owners also choose LED pool lighting because it is a more eco-friendly option. Not only do LEDs use far less electricity, an LED light can last six times longer than an incandescent light of equal brightness.

The Most Energy-Efficient Lighting Available
An LED (or light emitting diode) is a small semi-conductor device that converts electrical energy directly into light. Since there is no filament, an LED does not heat up the way an incandescent bulb does, which wastes up to 80% of the electricity routed to it to produce heat rather than light. An LED light like the Pentair IntelliBrite® 5g White LED provides a noticeably brighter light while using 86% less energy than an incandescent bulb—resulting in significant energy savings.

Brilliant Colors for Unmatched Visual Appeal
The main attraction of LED lighting is the stunning visual appeal and ability to change up the lighting to suit any mood or event. Today’s best color-changing LED pool lights feature numerous light options—from static colors like blue, green, magenta, red and white to dynamic pre-programmed light shows that enhance nighttime poolscapes with rich and vibrant colors. Plus, most allow you to also choose the speed at which the colors change, further allowing you to achieve a particular ambiance.

Choosing the particular color or light show for your pool is usually a simple process of stepping through the selections until you find your desired setting. Other systems allow you to include a dedicated controller to make choosing and programming your lights even easier and synchronize LED lights in your pool, spa and landscape.

LED Lighting Outlasts the Competition
The typical life span of an incandescent light is 5,000 hours, whereas LED lights have been proven to last 30,000 to 50,000 hours. The reason for their extended life is the durable, solid state technology, which has no internal filament to wear out.

In the past, LED pool lighting has received negative feedback because if one LED burned out all of the LEDs would stop working, similar to old holiday lights. However, new LED pool lighting systems like the IntelliBrite 5g Color LED will continue to work even when one of its LEDs burn out.

Attached below is a video on" How to Clean The Chlorine Generator".  Put your cursor right in front of the first letter and check on the video.  This is a great unit but installation is more for the professional because it has to be directly wired in by a licensed electrician.  However we have great news, Hayward has come out with a new and improved Chlorine Generator!   This new unit is great for the do-it-yourself.  The major difference it the new one comes with a plug no electrician is needed, thus saving the pool owner money!  Come by Wideman Pools, and check it out.

Swimming Pool Covers Help You Save Money, Energy and Water

Have you put “get a pool cover” at the bottom of your to-do list? Maybe you should be moving it up on your list. There are many reasons to use a pool cover, About.com reports in its Pool & Patio section. Here are just a few ways:

Save Energy: Pool covers hold in the heat, so your heater uses less fuel to keep it warm. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, savings of 50 to 70% are possible.

Conserve Water: Pool covers reduce evaporation by 90 to 95%, so you use less water. According to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, an uncovered pool in their region could lose 50 to 70 gallons of water per square foot each year (that’s 10,000 – 14,000 gallons each year for a pool with a surface area of 200 feet).

Use Fewer Chemicals: Pool covers can reduce your chemical use by 35 to 60%.

The more you learn about pool covers, it becomes clear that they are arguably the most multi-faceted aspect of any poolscape. They keep debris out, water in, retain heat and can serve as a safety measure -- preventing people from falling into the water -- plus so much more.

With all the possibilities, it’s easy to see why a pool cover could be the next great investment you make in your pool.
